The Arena Powerskin R-EVO+ is a worthy suit. It delivers excellent compression and fit. The suit has been available for a couple of years, so the prices have dropped a little to make this an affordable high-end suit.

The Arena Powerskin R-EVO+ jammer is a FINA and NCAA approved jammer that can be used for all FINA and NCAA swimming competition in all events and strokes.
The Arena Powerskin R-EVO+ jammer primarily utilizes the proprietary Powerskin fabric for its jammer. The Powerskin woven fabric has been used for 10 years and has continuously evolved through the years to maintain its competitive advantage. The Powerskin fabric helps to stabilize and streamline the body during the stroke to help it glide effortlessly and efficiently. It is also highly water resistant and hydrophobic to minimize water absorption and retention. Superior compression is ensured by the proprietary one piece, Z-Raptor+ fabric built into the Powerskin. This compression ensures optimum muscle performance, and improves endurance as well as enhancing recovery, without sacrificing comfort. The Z-Raptor+ fabric also compresses to reduce the surface area drag of the body. The Arena Powerskin R-EVO+ jammer also utilizes it own thermo-bonded seam technology that allows for a lower profile jammer. This also eliminates stitches and seams in the frontal area. The Arena Powerskin R-EVO+ jammer is also made of lightweight material that is composed of 64%polyamide, and 36% elastane. It weighs less than 100 grams which supposedly makes it the lightest textile swimsuit in the market today.
Consumer reviews of this product frequently favor this brand and model over others, with its excellent glide in the water and effective but comfortable compression being the most notable comments. The Arena Powerskin R-EVO+ jammer is designed for elite level swimming. Although it will function perfectly well for training, using the jammer frequently and exposing it to chlorine repeatedly will hasten the wear and tear as well as the degradation of the product. We strongly suggest using an alternate swimsuit, of the same or different make for training. The Arena Powerskin R-EVO+ jammer is not designed for use in sporting activities outside of swimming as the construction is made to accommodate swimming movements. Using the Arena Powerskin R-EVO+ jammer for any other activity will hasten fabric degradation. The jammer comes with a manufacturers standard retail price of $260.
