The FASTSKIN3 Super Elite jammer is Speedo's top-of-the-line suit. It is part of the racing system, which includes the suit, cap and goggles. Excellent suit for the serious competitor without a budget.
Description
Speedo have released their third line of FastSkin products. However, this time, the FASTSKIN3 is being touted as a full race system, which includes the suit, cap and goggles.
Designed for the serious competitor, the Speedo FASTSKIN3 Racing System promises to deliver significant benefits to the wearer. The system, working together delivers “a full body passive drag reduction of up to 16.6%, an 11% improvement in the swimmer’s oxygen economy enabling them to swim stronger for longer, and a 5.2% reduction in body active drag.”
The three components come with special anatomical markings, called “Fit Point Markers.” By aligning these points, the swimmer achieves the best fit.
Speedo makes three versions of the Fastskin3 technology — the Super Elite is the top of the line and caters to professional athletes; the Elite is for advanced competitors and the Pro for intermediate swimmer.
The Super Elite FastSkin3 uses 3D Zoned Compression to help keep the swimmer’s body remain formed into a hydrodynamic shape. The Speedo literature claims that this reduces skin friction by almost 3%.
The seams used in the suit are also considered a high-end feature. Using a network of binded seams, the suit helps keep the swimmer’s body compressed, which helps reduce friction and muscle recovery. Speedo has introduced a new feature in the IG Fit waistband, which eliminates the bulky tie-cords on most suits.
Speedo have thought of everything in this suit, including how it works with the other equipment being used.

“I use the product for special meets and championships. I dont recomend that you wear this suit at practice or at smaller meets unless you really want to drop time. It has better fit to it than the fs pro, fs ii, lzr elite and lzr pro gold. Things that arent so great are the colors. It would be better if there was a plain black version like the lzr elite”
